Orientation Camp (09-11 September
2002)
 After
having the Recruitment Days, we had recruited 20 new members. The
company had organized an Orientation Camp on the date of 9th, 10th, and
11th September. The 3 days and 2 nights camp was held at Taman Rekreasi Tasik
Gelugor. More than 30 members take part in the following camp. The
purpose to organize the camp is wanted to build up the relationship between
the senior members and the new members. Beside that, it's also a
examination camp for those who are taken the Drill Stage One, Target and
Camper badge.

The Guest and the Orientation Days (10th August 2002)
 Today, everybody in the company are well
prepared themselves to welcome the BBM President, Mr. Krishnan Moorthy,
Brigade Secretary Mr. Francis Chiong and Captain of 1st Butterworth, Mr.
Foong. The visitation of the BBM President has given us a big
encouragement.
 Beside
that, the following days was also the "ICE-CREAM FUN Day" for the new
recruited members, well know as Orientation Days for FPCOM. It's one of
the well different activities we haven't organized before.

Recruitment and Exhibition 2002

Saturday) It was the biggest recruitment and exhibition activities in
our company we haven't organized before. Before the activities is going
on, we had flies 4000 flyers to the neighborhoods around the Seberang
Jaya, Chai Leng Park and Taman Inderawasih. The R&E activities was also
the "Open-Day-Registration-Day" with "Know more about BB" in the R&E.
More than 200 visitor was visited us and listened to the speech by the
officer. We told them about BB History, the relationship between BB and
scout. We had recruited more than 20 members through the recruitment
activities.

FPCOM Out-Door Activity ( 6 July 2002)
FPCom was organized a out-door activity for
the company members. The activity was held at Taman Rekreasi Ayer Itam
and it's a nice place for having camp at there, but not suitable for
training camp. More than 30 members including officers, helpers was
attended the following activity and all of them was really enjoy
themselves in the activity. We worship there, having fun and games
there, a short team-building and leadership briefing by warrant officer
(after the team-buildings games). Beside that, we shared our problems we
face in the company, problems on leadership and share our life between
officers and members. We are trying to brief them, giving ideas,
comments and suggestion for how to settle all of this problems. Surely
we should pass all of this problems to our Heaven Father too, by our
prayer.

Perhimpunan dan Pelancaran Hari Belia
2002
Peringkat Negeri Pulau Pinang (9 June 2002)
 Majlis
Belia Pulau Pinang was organized a gathering called as “Perhimpunan dan
Pelancaran Hari Belia 2002 Peringkat Pulau Pinang” and the title for the
gathering was “Pengupayaan Teras Kecemerlangan”. The following activity
was held at “Dewan Milenium, Kepala Batas, Seberang Perai Utara”.
Our respected YAB Dato’
Seri Adullah Bin Hj. Ahmad Badawi was invited as one of the important
guest and also the speaker for the gathering. Beside that, YAB Tan Sri
Dr. Koh Tsu Koon was being
 invited
too.
A few Boys’ Brigade
companies In Penang was attended the following activity; they are 2nd
Penang, 16th Penang, 1st Butterworth, 3rd
Butterworth and 1st Prai. |
Sergeant Christina Lim
Our GREAT Sergeant, Christina Lim will
further her study at UUM (University Utara Malaysia), and will leave us
for 3 years. We thanks to her responsibility and support for this few
years. She will always in our prayer and may God bless her. In Jesus
Christ we always are one family!
